Anxiolytic peptide

A synthetic heptapeptide analog of tuftsin, researched chiefly as an anxiolytic and nootropic, prescribed in Russia.

⚙️ How it works

Modulates GABAergic and monoaminergic (serotonin/dopamine) neurotransmission and upregulates hippocampal BDNF. Thought to inhibit enkephalin degradation, stabilising endogenous regulatory peptides, producing anxiolytic effects without benzodiazepine-like sedation or dependence in preclinical models.

🎯 What it's studied to help

Bars reflect the strength & volume of research evidence for each use — not a guarantee of results.

Modulates GABA signalling and raises BDNF to reduce anxiety, per rodent and small Russian trials.
BDNF upregulation supports memory/cognition in animal studies.
Derived from immunomodulatory tuftsin, with reported effects on cytokine regulation.
