EpitalonPreclinical (sparse human) evidence

Pineal tetrapeptide

A synthetic tetrapeptide derived from the pineal extract epithalamin, researched as a putative anti-aging/longevity and circadian-regulating compound.

⚙️ How it works

Reported to induce expression of the telomerase subunit hTERT, increasing telomerase activity and partially restoring telomere length in cultured human fibroblasts; also appears to restore age-related declines in pineal melatonin and circadian rhythm. Most data are in vitro or animal.

🎯 What it's studied to help

Bars reflect the strength & volume of research evidence for each use — not a guarantee of results.

Activates telomerase (hTERT) and lengthens telomeres in vitro — the basis of longevity claims; human evidence sparse.
Sleep30/100
Reported restoration of pineal melatonin and circadian rhythm in aged subjects.
Skin20/100
Cellular-renewal effects are theorised to benefit skin aging, but direct evidence is anecdotal.
